Progressive jam-rock group, Umphrey’s McGee, will make their triumphant return to KettleHouse Amphitheater on Saturday, September 10, 2022.
The jam-heavy sextet is known for their adventurous, unpredictable and highly energetic live concerts. Not many bands can effortlessly flow from hard rock headbangers to spaced out electronica, but that’s exactly the type of genre weaving wizardry you can expect from Umphrey’s McGee. Fans in Montana had the chance to see Umphrey’s at The Wilma in Missoula for an epic two night stand in March 2017 and again at The Wilma in 2018. They played for the first time at KettleHouse Amphitheater in 2019 and we can’t wait to see them back on the Blackfoot!
Over the past two decades, Umphrey’s McGee have played 2,200 gigs and have sold over 5 million tracks. They became the “first group to launch its own single artist streaming service” with UMLive.net, which houses recordings of every gig since 2005. They innovated the fan’s live concert experience with their groundbreaking “Headphones & Snowcones” program, granting fans access to professional headphones and a soundboard-quality mix at shows. In 2021, they released their 15th studio album, You Walked Up Shaking In Your Boots But You Stood Tall And Left A Raging Bull.
