Acclaimed guitarist Trey Anastasio will bring the Trey Anastasio Band to Montana for their debut performance at KettleHouse Amphitheater on Friday, September 23, 2022.

A founding member of the legendary jam rock band, Phish, Anastasio has had an illustrious and storied career, to say the least. His acclaimed musical journey includes a massive touring history and a thick catalog of recorded material. He has over 100 songwriting credits with Phish and has released 11 solo albums. Trey’s most recent album, mercy, came out earlier this year. His first ever solo acoustic album, mercy is an intimate account of what he experienced within his New York City apartment during the pandemic.

Anastasio has collaborated with many artists like Dave Matthews, Herbie Hancock, Carlos Santana, Toots and the Maytals, B.B. King and The Roots, and – as part of the trio Oysterhead – Les Claypool (Primus) and Stewart Copeland (The Police). In 2015, Anastasio joined the surviving four members of the Grateful Dead for five stadium shows, which celebrated the band’s 50th anniversary and served as their farewell shows. Anastasio also co-wrote the score for the Broadway musical Hands on a Hardbody, which was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Original Score and was awarded the 2013 Dramatists Guild Frederick Loewe Award for best theatrical score composition.

It’s been a while since Trey has played around Missoula, so we’re projecting a packed venue for this concert. This will also be the last show of 2022 at the Amphitheater, so it’ll be somewhat of a season closer celebration.
